IDA Applications sends a receipt from apply@idagrantprogram.com. A coordinator assigned to your file then emails you from helenmarsh@idagrantprogram.com within 24 hours. Check inbox and spam, then reply on that thread.

Write plainly. Name the category, the amount of help you need if you know it, and what the grant would cover. Completeness matters more than perfect wording.
